Alan E. Wynn
Hello, my name is Alan, and welcome to my author’s page. I will be 68 years old come December. I am a jack of all trades and master of few. I grew up in the Kansas City, Missouri area, but live in a small town, still in Missouri. I have no writing skills as I am educated only at a high school level. I graduated in 1976 from Blue Springs High School. I do not think on merit, but just the desire of the school to be rid of me.
I was born into a large family of six children, with me being the fourth. My parents were naturally overwhelmed with such a brood and tried their best to raise us with good morals and behavior. At an early age, however, I became an alcoholic and stayed that way for 50 years. I was a functioning alcoholic, not belligerent, but a happy drunk. Still, it led to a broken home environment for my children.
I became sober several years ago and studied the God my mother and father introduced me to as a boy. It has changed my life completely. During my time seeking my true purpose, as I meditated and gave time to understanding, God urged me to write a small booklet and publish it.
Please cut me a break – lol – I do not know much about grammar and punctuation; this is my attempt to exercise self-control and plant the seed I was given. As I said, I am not an educated man as far as higher education is concerned. That being said, I am intelligent. I am mechanically inclined. I fabricate and create as well as repair things of use. I live on three acres and plant and harvest every year. My tractor gets a fair bit of my time as it was built in 1958, and she often needs to take advantage of my abilities.
I have never written a booklet; I like to talk. Too much! However, I pushed myself and now I have opened a new door to find out what could be on the other side. I hope you will consider supporting my effort to expand my horizons and share what I have to offer.
